Elisa is a Transplant Ethicist at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Bioethics. She holds a PhD and MA in Philosophy from Georgetown University and a B.S. in Biology from the University of Portland. She has competed with, coached, and co-coached the Bioethics Bowl teams at both the University of Portland and Georgetown University. While in grad school, she was a Medical Humanities Research Fellow (2021, 2023); taught Bioethics, Research Ethics, and Philosophy of Medicine; and worked as a Research Ethics and Integrity Specialist for the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. She completed her Clinical Ethics Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic.
